Congratulations to Elida Elementary and Middle School for being recognized in the US News & World Report School Rankings as Top 40% in Ohio! The achievements include ranking "Well Above Expectations" in math & reading performance.

The achievements include ranking "Well Above Expectations" in math & reading performance.
Elementary ranked #417 out of 1,548 elementary schools in Ohio. Middle School ranked #180 out of 975 middle schools.
Elida High School also achieved Top 40% earlier this year, in August.

The Middle School Annual Veterans Assembly is Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 8 a.m. A reception will be held in the MS Commons following the ceremony.

Elida Middle School Art students take first and second place in the Lions Club Annual Peace Poster Contest.

Elida Middle School Art students take first and second place in the Lions Club Annual Peace Poster Contest! 
This is the fifth year we've had students participate in the contest, and we have had a winner every year, and this year we had TWO!
-6th grader Sawyer Eblin won 1st place and $100 cash prize and her poster will go onto the district contest.
-8th grader Aylin Vargas won 2nd place and a $50 cash prize.
13 Elida middle school students submitted artwork and all will receive a certificate, and their poster will be on display at ArtSpace Lima until this Saturday!
Be sure to visit ArtSpace/Lima to see the students' posters! Congratulations, and thank you to middle school art teacher Kelsey Schumaker for helping showcase Elida student talents! !
